DeOtis "Sean Oatz" Hollaman

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of DeOtis D. Hollaman, affectionately known to many as “Sean Oatz.” Oatz has taken his final bow on this side of eternity, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, strength, and unforgettable presence. Oatz was more than a name—he was a spirit that filled rooms, a voice that comforted many and a soul that carried both resilience and warmth. 

Though his earthly journey has come to a close, his memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered and the love that remains in the hearts of those he touched.

Public Viewing will be held Friday February 27, 2026 3PM - 8PM at Gaines Funeral Home 5386 Lee Road Maple Heights, OH 44137. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday February 28, 2026 at Blessed Hope Missionary Baptist Church 8804 Buckeye Road Cleveland, OH 44104, Wake 10:00AM  Funeral 10:30AM
